Harmony Heights Residence is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and home-like environment where students feel a sense of belonging and care. We promote academic success, personal growth, leadership, wellness, and community engagement through inclusive programmes, student-led initiatives, sustainability projects, and meaningful traditions, fostering lifelong friendships, responsible citizenship, and future-ready graduates.
Vision
To be a welcoming and inclusive student residence that serves as a home away from home, nurturing empowered, socially responsible women through sisterhood, excellence, sustainability, and holistic development within the North-West University community.
Harmony Heights Residence provides lodging for 270 students on the Mahikeng Campus of the NWU.
Harmony Heights is a Female Residence.
Rooms:
There are 90 single rooms and 90 double rooms, each of which has a bed, desk with chair and cupboard. There is also internet connectivity.
Other facilities:
- Bathrooms: There are 4 bathrooms with showers per floor. Each floor houses 18 students.
- Kitchens: There are two kitchens per floor, each kitchen has 2 stoves, a microwave and a fridge. Some rooms has a small fridge available in the room.
- Laundry: A communal laundry room is available, with 10 washing machines and 10 tumble dryers.
