Vision: To be accessible to our students, faculty, and university, providing our services in the pursuit of excellent results.

Mission:

• Promoting a diverse and inclusive student life to the students of Economic and Management Sciences at a level that will positively contribute to their personal growth.
• Act as a representative to address and resolve student issues and suggestions at (departmental, faculty and academic) board meetings.
• To assist students with academic problems, complaints, bursary requests and applications, and other problems they may have, or to refer such students to people who could better assist them on the matter.
• Arranging speakers and other career-related functions to create awareness for students on life after University.
• Create opportunities for students to interact with each other in more ways than arranging academic events.

Equitas

Vision: We envision a committee and faculty that strives for success throughout all aspects of student life.

Mission: The mission of Equitas is to ensure that all students have the opportunity to excel in all areas of their university career. It is our mission to ensure that we make all these opportunities available to each student in our faculty.

Excursio

Vision: Excursio is the School of Tourism's Academic Student Association. We strive to help tourism students reach their academic and student life goals during their time at the NWU.

Mission: Our mission is to make students aware of what is going on in the tourism industry and to keep them active with academic and student life events that will prepare them for future endeavours.

Integrum

Vision: Integrum’s vision is goal-oriented and purposeful service delivery through integrity, for all students at the School of Accounting, specifically students specializing in the study of BCom Forensic Accounting.

Mission:

• Firstly, to grow and improve moral values and professional behaviour of excellence, among all forensic accounting students.
• To communicate all student-related problems and suggestions to the relevant departmental- or faculty council, as well as to the SCC: Academic Council. \
• To provide assistance to all students with regards to academic problems, bursary applications, holiday work, as well as any other problems that they may experience, or to guide them to channels and persons who are able to help them.
• To organise speakers and other profession-related events for students.
• To organise social events for students studying forensic accounting.
• To supply information to students with regards to possible career opportunities and to host and facilitate formal and informal liaison events with potential employers in the sector.

Vision: To serve the faculty by promoting academic integrity and mutual companionship whilst addressing student needs through fairness, transparency & accountability.
