As part of the NWU strategy towards a clearly differentiated student value proposition, the idea of an NWU Student Leadership Academy was first broached at the beginning of 2019. However, with the arrival of the Executive Director: Student Life in August 2019 and later with the advent of the COVID-19 global pandemic, a serious re-think became necessary.
The Potchefstroom Campus Student Life Director: Dr Corrie Rheeder, was tasked with leading the project towards the development of the Student Leadership Academy at NWU.
