#100KidsToVarsity is a non-profit organization founded by varsity students and currently have members across all South African provinces as well as in Cuba and Swaziland. The organization's main aim is to bridge the gap between disadvantaged high schools and tertiary institutions, however it should be noted that the gap is not limited to aforementioned schools. The main aim is achieved through hosting of mass varsity application days in various locations in order to help students apply for tertiary, finding accommodation, and to enlighten them about general tertiary life as well as to provide a motivation. In doing this we bring students vibrancy on campus.

Golden Key International Honour Society
Golden Key is an international non-profit organisation which recognises excellence exemplified in academic achievements, leadership skills and community involvement. Golden Key International Honour Society is the world’s largest collegiate honour society and was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, USA 42 years ago. Golden Key recognises and encourages academic excellence amongst the top 15% of academic achievers attending tertiary institutions all around the world. Today, more than 2.4 million students and graduates of 530 universities in Australia, Canada, Malaysia, New Zealand, India, the Bahamas, Southern Africa and the United States enjoy Golden Key life-time membership. North West University Debating Union
The North West Debating Union has been in existence for close to a decade albeit only at the Potchefstroom Campus. The union has recently established a chapter at the NWU Vanderbijalpark campus and was a registered society in the Mafikeng campus on the year 2020 and will be registered as a society in the current year. Debating is a procedure of having a formal discussion on a topic. Debates occur in public meetings, academic institutions, and legislative spaces. It is a platform for people to voice their opinions and develop their confidence while addressing critical issues happening in their respective communities and surroundings. It’s an act of speaking, thinking and reading at the same time which is essential in the development of Academic Literacy.

Association of South Black Actuaries
We are a society for Business Mathematics students (Actuarial Science, Quantitative Risk Management, Business Analytics and Financial Mathematics students).
ASABA programmes are structured to provide assistance to university students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds as well as support for Actuarial students and professionals. We run programmes such as: mentorship, programmes aimed at female aspiring actuaries, community outreach and upliftment programmes and vacation work aimed at exposing students to the actuarial field amongst others.
