Anglican Students Society

The Anglican Students Society(An’Soc) of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa(ACSA) serves to serve the needs of Students and proclaim the gospel of God and develop mature Christian student leadership for the church and community. This we do by providing an Anglican "Home away from Home" on campus through Bible studies, worship, workshops, conferences and community  outreach programs.

Association of Catholic Tertiary Students

The society creates a space where Catholics and non-Catholics can come together and share the word of the Lord together. Not only, we meet on this space to pray and discuss the bible, but it is a space we find solitude and courage from our hectic study schedules, we debrief here. The association is youth vested and socially responsible, thus, we also discuss social issues that we face as the youth and how we could possibly help each other.

Forward in Faith on Campus

We intend to prepare young people emerging into leadership to do so whilst holding their moral values through their faith. Glory Ministries International

GMI is a ministry devoted to expose Gods Glory on the earth. Hab.2:14 “for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters covers the sea”. Glory Ministries International (GMI) is a multi-cultural, multi-generational church which also is a spiritual covering various different congregations. We train and Equip new believers for spiritual growth and those who wish to get grafted in to our heart and vision. Our vision is to attract, maintain, experience and expose Gods Glory. International Pentecostal Holiness Church Student Strucrture

We as the IPHCSS aim to encourage students to progress academically while embracing the concept of religion and the role it plays in their student life. We also encourage students to intermingle as to enrich their religious needs and beliefs, whilst instilling the culture of respect and trustworthiness within the students and community as a whole. IPHCSS promotes, enhances and protects the interests of its members spiritual and mentorship needs and motivates students to accept challenges and responsibilities by equipping them for problems that we are facing in this new era.

King of Glory Campus Ministry

We teach/preach the undiluted gospel of Christ Crucified, therefore Setting the captives free from spiritual bondage through the Power of the Holy spirit in the name of Jesus Christ. We have weekly cell group meetings.

Kruispunt

We as Kruispunt have a few goals in mind, including to bring the love of Jesus to students, enabling them to personally meet God and build their personal relationship with Jesus Christ, discipling and encouraging students in their journey and life, while here at the NWU and helping relieve physical and spiritual need, especially in hostels.

To do this, we have Sunday evening services at Duet church, Life groups at Duet church every week,        Refresh camps every month and connecting with one or two hostels to help out with need.

Muslim Students' Associations 

The Muslim Students' Associations (MSA) of North West University (NWU) is a Religious society that represents the Muslim students on campus. The MSA NWU aims to unite Muslim students by carrying out religious, charitable and social events. The Objective of MSA is to associate with different societies, political and religious in a manner to promote justice, equality and peace while upholding Islamic principles and morals, by highlighting Islam as a way of life. The MSA NWU is run as an independent body with its own rules and regulations and associated to other organizations for unity.

Ratio Christi is a global Christian campus apologetics movement that equips university students and faculty to give historical, philosophical, and scientific reasons for following Jesus Christ. We hope to inspire thoughtful Christianity - transforming lives on campus and impacting the culture of today and tomorrow. We commend Christian evangelism and apologetics seeking both to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel of Christ, while at the same time offering compelling reasons for Faith in Christ. JFN Ministries Society

Students experience a vast multitudes of struggles from their daily pressures of their studies, to personal issues depriving them of hope.It is very easy for the cry of a single student to become lost in the vastness of the university. Our aim as a society is help students during these times of need. The society aims to provide a safe place for students to relate with each other and receive advice from leaders of our society.In many cases, students needs mentors who can support them through their times of struggles and throughout their university lives. We believe that God makes one’s burdens light when we trust in Him with our lives.This is the message we want to spread to our students throughout the university.

Methodist Student Society (MethSSoc)

This is a society of students who are Methodist and adherent, who have come together to fellowship within institutions of higher learning. Our vision is to be a Christ-healed, transformed and empowered student community. In our mission we exist to proclaim the holistic Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to unite and empower student community at tertiary level through engaging in spiritual growth and evangelism, enhancing training and teaching through academic support, social injustice issues and leadership development. Our aims and objectives are to awaken and deepen the Christian life in young people through prayer and preaching and our values are servanthood, love and care.

New Apostolic Student Assembly (NASA)

The society is based on prayer and worship God bringing student together at hard times assistants one another in academic performances is basically a home for everyone we are family and been there for one another and I as the chairperson my vision is to reunite fellow stundents and encourage them  not to quit and invite motivational speakers to give a word of encouragement.

Whereas we the Zion Christian Church Student Fellowship at Institutions of Higher Learning realised that we are members of Zion Christian Church before we are students, and committed ourselves to the principle of the Zion Christian Church as our basic principle of operation and further committed to unite, and organise all students in a religious manner to work towards transformation within institutions of higher learning, maintain and uphold Christianity within institutions of higher learning and further contributing positively towards activities and programs of the Zion Christian Church.

We, the members of ST. ENGENAS Z.C.C. Student Fellowship, wish to keep and maintain the spirit of our religion within our campus through music. We have daily prayer sessions after full-time classes, we have study sessions to assist our members with their studies and we also have a choir practice every Friday. Through these activities mentioned above we wish to unite all ST. Engenas Z.C.C. student members and other students who are interested in worshiping God. We also want to get the individuals and the community at large to refrain from wrong doing and develop a positive attitude towards accepting christian values.

We aim to stimulate the spiritual, mental and physical being of students. We keep the Christian lamp (Matt 5:14-16) glowing at all times, uphold the great commandments (Mar 12:30-31) and the great commission (Mar 16:15). Our vision is to be rooted and grounded in love, and raising spiritual gaints (Eph3:17). Our mission is to pray unceasingly and to live by faith; to encourage the blind to see, the weak to be strong and poor to be rich.

Zisco was established with the aim to uplift the spirituality of all zion Christian students at tertiary educational institution to praise and worship God together and the elimination of zion congregation and community challenges.
