The purpose of the intercampus student leader liaison tour was to act as a benchmarking exercise and succession planning mechanism through which students and student leaders can learn valuable lessons in terms of best practices per campus, overall contributing towards our creation of a comparable student experience. The programme focussed primarily on students who aspire to become student leaders and student leaders who intend to serve a subsequent student leadership term. Four (04) co-curricular programme focus areas underpinned the tour namely:

1. University Residence and Day House Residence Life programmes.
2. Flagship programmes on diversity and transformation.
3. The functions, roles, and programmes of Students’ Campus Councils (SCCs).
4. Student Peer Support Networks.
