Rooms

Large double rooms and attractive single rooms. We boast the biggest rooms at the Puk. These are very well-equipped rooms. You may bring your own fridge, kettle and microwave for your room.

The rooms have built-in cupboards and lots of space.  Every room has power and internet points. If you therefore bring your own laptop or computer, you can gain access to the internet from your room.

Other facilities

DStv in the clubhouse and recreation hall

Here we watch rugby and sport together.  It is a place where the bulls bond. We have large flat-screen television sets.

Every corridor has its own TV room, equipped with sofas

Here we socialise in the corridors. Corridor meetings are held here and they are also used to play games and entertain guests so that they do not bother the other bulls in the corridors. Every corridor room also has its own decorations with photographs of past bulls who lived in the corridor..

Washing machines and tumble-driers

We are equipped with four washing machines and two tumble-driers. We also have a lady who washes students’ clothes and cleans their rooms at an agreed price.

Bicycle shed

We have a neat covered bicycle shed where you can lock away your bicycle. It is in the courtyard, so your bicycle is very safe. Most of the students use bicycles to move around the campus.

Pool table and table-tennis table

This helps the bulls to relax, particularly during exams. They can use these facilities any time..

Braai area equipped with wooden benches for seating and a beautiful courtyard

We also have a very large braai area with fixed cement braais and drum braais. We like to braai in Hombré. It is a nice social activity in which everyone can participate. The braais can be used at any time, as long as people are not disturbed – particularly in exam time. We also have wooden benches here, which makes it a nice place to socialise.

Clubhouse (Hombré Dam)

We have all our social events at the clubhouse. Here we dance and sing. There are also a number of traditions at the clubhouse, which makes it a really nice place. Here you can just enjoy yourself and make friends with the ladies’ residences.

Computer room with library and old question paper banks

We have a computer room with 24-hour internet access. You can complete your academic assignments here.

Recreation hall with archives

We have a beautiful, large recreation hall. This hall also houses our archives, where all the history of the residence is preserved.

Well-equipped bathrooms

The bathrooms are very luxurious. There are showers, baths, toilets, urinals and hand basins with mirrors.

Luxurious kitchens

The kitchens are neat and equipped with marble tops. There are stoves and microwaves for cooking. There is also filtered water, with boiling water for coffee and cold water for drinking.

Neat sculleries

The sculleries are neatly equipped with double kitchen sinks and drying racks.
