Rooms

Vergeet-My-Nie has 83 single rooms and 84 double rooms to house the 251 residents. In your first and second year you share a room with a roommate. The rooms are readily furnished with two beds and matrasses, two double door closets, two desks with chairs, a pin board, two towel railings, a heater for the cold, two internet points and a beeper so that people in the foyer can check if you are in your room or not. There are also blinds in front of the windows. From your third year you are eligible for a single room, depending on your participation in the residence as well as your academic performance. The single rooms are each equipped with a bed and a mattress, a double door closet, a desk with a chair, a pin board, a towel rail, a heater, a beeper, an internet point and blinds for the window.

Other facilities

Each corridor is equiped with two bathrooms, each having 2 toilets, 3 showers, 4 basins and 1 bath. On every corridor there is an open plan kitchen and lounge area. Each kitchen has two water purifiers (one with a water tank with cold and boiling water and another with only cold water) and double basin. There is also a workstation that can be used to cook with power points at the wall.The kitchen and lounge are shared by the 42 girls living on the corridor. The residence has 4 washing rooms, 2 in each block. Every washing room has 2 washing machines, 2 dryers as well as 3 ironing points and a few drying racks. In the residence there is a living room as well as a recreation hall. The recreation hall has a piano as well as a TV with DSTV.
